Actions for the New School Year

A summary of actions all users should take at the start of the new school year.

If you will stop using Miley

  • For guardians who will stop using Miley due to graduation or school transfer
New school year - tag setting changes
  • Please delete your account.

If you will continue to use Miley

  • For guardians whose children will remain enrolled next year

Update group settings

  • From Menu, select Account to go to the account information page.
  • In the Registered Profiles section, press the button to the right of the profile you want to update.

  • Press the button to the right of the Groups you belong to section.

Select groups for the new school year

  • Choose the groups for the new year (class, committee, etc.).
  • Make sure unchecked groups are those you will no longer belong to.
  • When finished, press the Done button.

Review tag settings

  • If you use tags for grade, class, committee, or roles, update them accordingly.
  • In the profile edit screen, update tag contents to match the new year.
  • Skip this step if your school/PTA does not use tags.

If you have multiple profiles and want to delete only one

  • For guardians who use Miley at multiple schools
  • Delete the profile for the school you will no longer use (e.g., after graduation).
