About Chat

Overview

• A simple chat feature.
• Supports sending text messages, attaching files/images, linking to Storage, and read receipts.
• There are three room types: regular chat room, group chat room, and direct message room (DM).
• In regular chat rooms, you invite members at creation or when adding members. Invitees join the chat room after accepting the invitation.
• In group chat rooms, chat members sync automatically with group members without manual management.
• In DM rooms, you can add members directly without sending invitations.

Top screen

• A list of chat rooms you participate in is displayed.
• Chat rooms with new messages show a red dot.
• Shows available actions on this screen.
• Edit: go to the chat room edit screen.
• Create: create a new chat room.
