File Operations

Explains file operations in Storage.

Overview

  • Files are stored in Storage folders and subfolders.
  • The maximum file size is 20MB.

Saving files

Storage - save file screen
  • Select the folder or subfolder where you want to save the file.
  • Press the submenu button.
  • Press Save in the folder to open the save screen.
  • Press Select files and choose the file you want to save.
  • Enter the file description in File description (the file description is displayed more prominently than the file name).
  • When done, press Save to folder.
  • When saving images outside an image folder, the file size limit is 5MB.
  • Image folders can store image files up to 20MB.

Deleting files

Storage - delete file
  • Select the folder or subfolder containing the file you want to delete.
  • Press the submenu button.
  • Press Delete to show the delete confirmation.
  • Press next to the file name to delete it.

Editing files

  • Select the folder or subfolder that contains the file you want to edit.
  • Press the submenu button.
  • Press Edit to open the edit screen.
  • Change the file description and press Update when finished.

Moving files

  • Select the folder or subfolder containing the files to move.
  • Press the submenu button.
  • Press Move.
  • Select the files to move and press Selection completed.
  • Then choose the destination folder or subfolder.
  • When the destination is selected, press Move File.
You can move up to 10 files at once.

Sorting files

  • Select the folder or subfolder that contains the files you want to sort.
  • Press the submenu button.
  • Press Sort.
  • Choose a sort method and the file list will be reordered accordingly.
