About groups
Overview and how to use the group features.
Overview
- You can create groups that multiple users can join.
- Groups can be selected as the recipient scope for announcements and other messages.
- (Create groups such as 1st grade - Class 1, PTA board members, etc.)
- You can select groups when searching users for chat or other features to bulk-select members.
- You can organize multiple groups together using labels.
Selecting groups
- This is the screen to select groups.
- Groups registered in the school are listed.
- Tap the checkbox to the left of the group name to select it.
- You can select multiple groups.
- If groups are organized with labels, tap a label to show the groups under it.
Groups configured with restrictions such as "Admin users only" or "School-staff only" will be grayed out and cannot be selected by users who are not in the target role (for example, non-administrators or non-staff).
